EV TRACTION BATTERY

RICO is pioneer in development and manufacture of High Energy Density Low Maintenance (HED-LM) Long Life deep discharge capable battery for Road Model EVs. The first pioneering development of Road Model Electric Vehicle was done by RICO jointly with BHEL, Bhopal for application in the 18-Seater “ELECTRAVAN” mode Electric Vehicle. Development was successful and the Battery were used in various BHEL’s EV Projects, like Agra Development Authority running vehicle in TAJ MAHAL area, Parliament House, New Delhi, Delhi Energy Development Agency, Ashok Leyland (Chennai) with ERDC Trivandrum, CVRDE-Chennai (Defence) and Eastern Command, Kolkata etc.

• Application: These batteries are generally used in Road Electric Vehicles, 4-Wheelers and 3-Wheelers.
